Dear St George Madrid parents, We are delighted to celebrate another outstanding set of International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results at St George Madrid. Our Class of 2026 has once again demonstrated what is possible when ambition, resilience and exceptional teaching come together. Our students achieved an average score of 32.4 points, comfortably above the global average of 30.9 points and an improvement on last year's results. Top individual score: 44 points, with a further six students achieving 39+ points We are especially proud that 63% of our graduates achieved the IB Bilingual Diploma, recognising their academic success across two languages. At St George Madrid, multilingualism is one of our greatest strengths. We believe that developing confident communicators who can think, learn and collaborate across languages and cultures prepares our students not only for university, but for life in an increasingly interconnected world. While we celebrate these impressive statistics, we know that the true success of this year's cohort cannot be measured by numbers alone. What makes these results particularly special is that every one of our students follows the full IB Diploma Programme. As a proudly inclusive international school, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to study one of the world's most respected and academically demanding pre-university qualifications. We do not reserve the Diploma for a select few; instead, we provide the support, challenge and care that enables every student to thrive. Some of our proudest moments today belong to students who have successfully earned the IB Diploma after overcoming significant academic or personal challenges. For many, completing the Diploma represents years of perseverance, determination and growth. These achievements are every bit as significant as the highest point scores. That is what makes St George Madrid special. These outstanding outcomes are a testament to the dedication of our exceptional teachers and support staff, the unwavering encouragement of our families and, above all, the commitment, resilience and ambition of our students. As our graduates prepare to begin exciting new chapters at universities across Spain, the United Kingdom and around the world, we congratulate every one of them. They leave St George Madrid not only with impressive qualifications, but also with the confidence, character, international outlook and multilingual skills to thrive wherever life takes them. At St George Madrid, every result tells a story. Every student's success matters. With best wishes, Mr Crouch
