We offer an international education based on the British system, with English as the primary language of instruction and personalised support throughout all stages of education. If you are looking for a British school in La Moraleja for your children, we offer your family a rigorous, multicultural academic programme focused on their future. We support our pupils from Reception through to Sixth Form and help them develop their academic, social and personal skills.
Our commitment to educational excellence, languages and holistic development has made us a leading choice for families in La Moraleja and other areas of north Madrid. We work to ensure that every pupil progresses according to their abilities, gains confidence and discovers their own interests. To achieve this, we combine high academic expectations with individual support and constant communication with families.
Our international community also allows students to interact with classmates from different cultures and nationalities.
We follow the British National Curriculum. Our pupils build up essential skills in subjects such as English, Maths and Science. They also take part in artistic, sporting and technological activities that contribute to their all-round development. During Secondary School, they explore the various academic subjects in greater depth and become more independent. Our approach goes beyond simply memorising content: we want pupils to research, reason, collaborate and understand how to apply what they learn.
Infants
20 months - 4 years
Total immersion in English. Children acquire the language naturally through games, songs, stories, routines and practical activities. As they progress, they expand their vocabulary and develop the skills needed to express themselves fluently in both everyday and academic situations.
Primary School
Ages 5 - 11
We prioritise the development of key skills: reading, writing, maths, science, art, physical education, and digital skills, which are all provided in English. We encourage autonomy, collaboration, and critical thinking from an early age. In addition, pupils learn Spanish as a second language, which provides them with a truly bilingual education.
Secondary School (IGCSE)
Ages 11 - 16
Students prepare for the IGCSE, internationally recognised qualifications that certify their knowledge and ability to work in English. This rigorous preparation lays the foundation for higher education and forms an essential part of the academic maturation process.
IB Diploma
Ages 16 - 18
This programme fosters research, critical thinking, the ability to argue a case and the organisation of work. It also allows each student to choose different subjects according to their interests, abilities and university goals.
Our educational programme has been recognised by various national rankings. Being ranked amongst the best schools in Spain motivates us to continue improving and to offer our pupils a high-quality educational experience.
This recognition is based on our international programme, the training of our teachers, the individual attention we provide, and the results achieved by our students. It also reflects the importance we place on well-being, a sense of community, and family involvement.
International recognition
British qualifications facilitate academic mobility and offer greater opportunities for entry to universities in different countries.
